The Mary Valley Rattler’s mascot, Steam Man, was at Gympie Station to welcome the TODAY Show crew for a special segment on the heritage train ride, which was featured on the show this morning.
Steam Man made his debut earlier this month for a Super Heroes event to celebrate the return of steam train services following a temporary closure during Covid.
The TODAY Show team was in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast for three sets of weather crosses, highlighting the diverse range of attractions available to visitors across the region.
The region has enjoyed a high profile in recent weeks, with Chris and Liam Hemsworth and their families holidaying at nearby Rainbow Beach.
