Nature lovers looking for an extra touch of comfort will get the opportunity to glamp in two Victorian National Parks when Parks Victoria’s glamping trial commences in late September 2018.

Based in Mount Buffalo National Park and Lake Eildon National Park, this is a unique opportunity to experience accommodation of this kind in two of Victoria’s most stunning and remote locations.

The fusion of glamour and camping has been a hit worldwide, so trialling the experience in Victoria’s National Parks to connect more people with nature and the outdoors adds to Parks Victoria’s commitment to world class visitor experiences.

The trial is giving two operators the opportunity to offer their tailored experiences to visitors, with both delivering something a bit unique:

Lake Catani at Mt Buffalo National Park

From Under Sky, a company famous for its pop up glamping, wedding and festival experiences, the Lake Catani offer is an adventure and nature lover’s paradise.

Mount Buffalo offers more than 90km of walking tracks, waterfalls, beautiful wildflowers, forests of snow gums, mossy plains, abundant wildlife, picnic places and now a luxury glamping experience – a truly unique and special offer.

With 10 bell tents, lush linens and furnishings and the creature comforts of home, Under Sky’s experience will ensure visitors are able to relax after a busy day of adventure and exploring.

Devil Cove at Lake Eildon National Park

From the operators of the award-winning Yea Peppercorn Hotel, ‘Glamping with Nature’ offers the best of the hotel offering lakeside to maximise the best of Devil Cove campground in Lake Eildon National Park.

A glamping experience with all the trimmings and offering health and wellness experiences, kayaking, cooking classes and group fitness classes, ‘Glamping with Nature’ will ensure visitors get the chance to enjoy the beauty of Lake Eildon while also indulging in a touch of self-care.
