Rosenberg stated “I was very impressed by Murray Decker, the Tour Amigo CEO and his strong, experienced management team. Murray identified a gap within the digitised era of travel and has shown great passion and determination in his business creating a truly innovative multi-day tour product, which is already starting to disrupt the space. I have no doubt Tour Amigo will go on to become the major player in their field and I am excited to be part of it.”

Rosenberg continued “Tour Amigo boasts a pedigree team of amazing people all with extensive, relevant travel and technology experience with a track record of delivering successful e-commerce solutions, bringing the traditional travel business model into the digital era. Multi-day tours until now have remained very much a legacy product but Tour Amigo changes all that.”

Murray Decker, Tour Amigo CEO said, “Tony will bring years of financial and investment expertise to Tour Amigo, as we are very much still in our growth stage, which is a crucial time for any business.”

Murray continued, “The current COVID-19 pandemic saw a massive increase in tour operators and online businesses focusing on tours being sold online and has already changed the travel industry’s mindset to a more digital environment. Tour Amigo is well placed to take advantage of the structural changes post COVID-19, as many new online platforms are looking to sell multi-day tours and traditional travel agency businesses will be forced to change their operational models.”

People love to travel and Tour Amigo (https://touramigo.com/) and its’ travel industry clients will be a strong beneficiary of these consumer changes as they look to enjoy their travel experiences in smaller groups. Bringing Tony into the team brings tour amigo one step closer to achieving their ambitious goal of revolutionising the multi-day tour sector.
