The inaugural TravMedia Summit brings together Australia and New Zealand’s most influential members of the tourism industry for a high-impact professional development program at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on Thursday 21st February, 2019.

The new half-day conference plays host to an unrivalled line-up of speakers addressing thought-provoking opportunities and issues that impact our industry today.

Nick Wayland, TravMedia’s CEO and Founder, said: “Our aim in launching The TravMedia Summit in Australia is to create a platform to share ideas, learn from leaders and each other, and be inspired to improve communications within the travel industry.

We have worked hard to bring together the expert panel, with key speakers such as Rajan Datar, host of Fast Track BBC World News, Winston Aldworth of the New Zealand Herald and so many inspiring leaders from the community.”

The program features a series of intensive sessions covering topics such as; Where to Distribute your Content, Insights into the Future of Travel and Social Media Content Marketing.

The day also features two highly engaging panel sessions with top editors and PR professionals to discuss insights into modern tourism and travel PR, what travel editors are looking for and how the industry can communicate more effectively.

Delegates can expect to learn how to better promote their organisations; how to work with media and influencers; where to distribute their content; how to improve their story writing and content development; and how to develop a comprehensive promotional campaign to put their destination or travel and tourism brand front-of-mind with travellers.

The sessions, delivered by top-tier media and PR experts, and the networking session will allow participants to meet these influential media, find out how to work with them better and how to create a stronger return from media programs and marketing campaigns.
