TRC Release Contact Tracing Add-On For In-Person Events to Support Duty of Care

TRC, the provider of attendee tracking, lead retrieval and on-site event solutions, release new contact tracing add-on to help protect attendees and keep events safe.

The new feature can be used to determine who has been exposed to a person that later reports positive for Covid-19 (or any other infectious disease). By keeping track of each individual’s position, movement, and proximity to one another over time, the system is able to generate reports which organizers can then use to communicate with attendees or health authorities.

“We’re extremely excited to help organizers keep its in-person events safe following the COVID-19 pandemic. A typical use case for the new add-on: Organizers can quickly uncover which person has been in contact with one another and for how many minutes. These reports can be easily generated from our system post event to provide crucial information to organizers, on-demand and timely.”, says Greg Lazzaro (Co-Founder of TRC and long term event industry veteran)

“This feature adds a whole new layer to our existing solution to track attendee behaviour for onsite logistics & marketing purposes. And while we do not offer a direct interface with government apps or databases, we see this as a way for organizers to be socially responsible.”

Existing and future clients of TRC will receive the contact tracing add-on as part of their deliverable at no extra cost.
