The Travel Industry Mentor Experience has announced Trish Shepherd, a seven-time TIME Mentor, has joined the TIME Board.

Trish Shepherd is one of Australia’s most respected travel industry veterans with a well-deserved reputation both here and abroad. She now joins Penny Spencer (Chair), Sue Graham, Oliver Tams and Fiona Dalton on the Board of the respected travel-tourism-hospitality industry mentoring organisation.

“We are over the moon about having Trish take a position on the Board. She brings an invaluable and unique experience to TIME”, said TIME Founder, Penny Spencer.

TIME invites ambitious industry professionals to imagine the careers of their dreams and to pursue them by providing direction, wisdom and experience from a seasoned industry Mentor.

“I have had mentors throughout my entire career that have guided me through some interesting phases and challenges”, said Trish.

“When Penny launched TIME all those years ago, I was privileged to have been asked to be a mentor. I am currently mentoring my seventh in what has been an amazing experience”, she added.

Trish is renowned for her creative and collaborative leadership, a proven track record of delivering results in challenging environments and her infectious enthusiasm and passion as an advocate for the travel industry.

“Every mentee is different, and it’s incredible how each interaction draws upon long-forgotten experiences that are relevant to give context to any given situation”, she says.

Her 30-year career spans across the globe with some of the biggest names in travel and is driven by a focus on innovation and strategic partnerships.

“When the opportunity came up to join the Time Board, I jumped at the chance. To be a part of this incredible team of people as they expand around Australia and into New Zealand is my way of giving back to this incredible industry that we are part of”, added Trish.

Travel-tourism-hospitality professionals are encouraged to follow the program on Facebook and LinkedIn to keep up to date with what’s going on inside the industry’s premier career accelerator.
