Christmas Show “Universal Crystal Christmas” has been renewed
Universal Studios Japan reformed its Christmas event show which has continued for ten years.
Everything will be new including its name as “Universal Crystal Christmas” and the event will be held from 14th November 2019 to 13th January 2020.
The Universal Studios Japan gains the attention in the winter with its most illuminated Christmas tree. The park will replace this tree to the “Universal Crystal Tree” from this year which is over 30 meters tall. The displayed lights on this tree twinkle dynamically and softly as if it has a spirit. The lights and its reflections sparkle across the site which gives the most beautiful and heart touching experience for all of the guests there.
The world’s best-regarded live show “The Gift of Angel” came to an end last year. However, “The Crystal Promise” will be released to give you an unforgettable night. You will be enchanted by this beautiful love story taking place on the stage filled with the glitter of crystals. It is even more breathtaking at its climax when the new lights of Christmas tree beside the stage are being lit and the spectacular performances are presented as if the magical aura appears to cover the guests.
Once you step into the park, “Christmas Shining Illuminations” leaves you speechless where the main street from the entrance will be surrounded by the reflections of crystals. The numerous light displays change its colours to the music like a kaleidoscope and create sparkling space where every guest on the site can shine out.
Come meet one of the most popular characters, the Minions dressing in Christmas costumes. The event “Crystal Greetings with the Minions!” will offer you amazing time to dance with these cute Minions in the scattering glitter confetti with the Christmas tree in the back. Guests can enjoy the “Bello Yellow Christmas at Minion Park” where everything is Minions’ colour theme of yellow for a limited period. Guests from toddlers to adults can fulfil their excitement with these wacky minions.
Universal Countdown Party 2020
The special event “Universal Countdown Party 2020” which is an ideal event to wrap up 2019 will be held from 31st December 2019, 7:00 pm until 1 January 2020, 2:00 am.
More than 3,500 fireworks show of various colours will be set up in the night sky for the new year. In addition, you will have unlimited access for 26 hours maximum to the popular rides.
Universal Studios Japan added “one night only seasonal event” to this party for the first time last year which all the tickets had sold out and was given 95% satisfaction rate from the survey conducted to the guests who visited the event last year. This “One-Night Special Version of Seasonal Event” will be added again this year with the annual gorgeous lineup to provide every guest’s last day of the year as special and stunning by condensing one-year excitement to this memorable night. Each seasonal event is carefully chosen from those performed in 2019 and will be presented to the guests as one night only.

The Flying Dinosaur from Jurassic Park
