January 12, 2021 Coronavirus (Covid-19) No Comments Email Email

Greater Brisbane’s lockdown will end at 6:00 pm AEST this evening, but some restrictions will remain, including wearing a mask. These restrictions continue to apply to people who have been in the Greater Brisbane region since 2 January 2021, no matter where they may have traveled to since.

What this means for Queensland’s tourism businesses

This fact sheet with advice for tourism operators has been issued by the Queensland Government. There is also an updated poster that businesses may choose to display to remind their guests of the restrictions.

Further information

There is further information on the restrictions for Greater Brisbane on Queensland Health’s website, with further information continuing to be added throughout the day.

Any guest showing symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, should get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

It is also as important as ever to ensure cleaning and hygiene practices are thorough.
