Chinese New Year 2019 is set to be a magnificent affair AccorHotels Singapore.

Known for its distinctive French Chinese fusion cuisine, Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre, will feature prosperity-themed menus encompassing special Yu Sheng dishes and set lunches and dinners from 21 January to 22 February 2019.

Choose from three types of Yu Sheng to toss in the Lunar New Year which includes theTraditional home-made Yu Sheng with cured trout at $128++, signature ‘Racines’ Auspicious Yu Sheng’ an East-meets-West creation of pickled chayote, cornichon, kohlrabi, shredded celeriac, finger lime caviar and homemade cured trout fillet with black garlic dressing at $138++ and the ultra-indulgent ‘Sofitel Luxe Yu Sheng served with a premium abalone pieces at $168++. The Yu Sheng will also be available for takeaway.

Savour authentic prosperity Chinese New Year Set Lunch featuring boiled fresh seafood with shredded sea cucumber, crab meat and dried scallop at S68++ or enjoy the Abundant Fortune Set Lunch comprising double-boiled ‘Áng Xin’ Chicken with fish maw and black truffle at $98++.

For dinner, relish Traditional Yu Sheng, stir-fried prawn fritters tossed with wasabi aioli, braised sea cucumber with chestnut and slow-cooked French duck breast as part of the Prosperity Set Dinner at $128++ or enjoy the Abundant Fortune Set dinner featuring Luxe Abalone Yu Sheng, golden seafood treasure soup with lobster and Hokkaido scallop, wok-fried king prawn with salted egg yolk butter sauce and ikura, slow-cooked compressed chicken with trumpet mushroom, braised abalone and superior foie gras sauce at S168++.

Perfect for large family and friends get-together, savour delicious 7 course lunch and dinner option with the Blissful Reunion Lunch at $1,088++, Blissful Reunion Dinner at $1,188++, Abundant Reunion Dinner at $1,288++ and Overflowing Fortune Dinner at $1,388++.

Located in the heart of Singapore, Szechuan Court at Fairmont Singapore will be launching an exquisite culinary indulgence by Master Chef Mok Wan Lok. Delight in six decadent set menus from 24 January to 19 February 2019 with an Auspicious set menu at $528++ for 4 persons, Success set menu at $828++ for 6 persons, Jewel set menu at $1,188++ for 8 persons, Resplendent set menu at $1,288++ for 8 persons, Blissful set menu at $1,488++ for 10 persons and Abundance set menu at $1,688++ for 10 persons.

Usher in The Year of the Pig with an auspicious Yu Sheng toss featuring Salmon Yu Sheng at $58++, Snow Crab Yu Sheng at $88++. Abalone Yu Sheng at $98++ and Sliced Coconut Meat, Vegetarian Abalone Yu Sheng at$58++.

Lavish in the Sze Chuan Court Prosperity Pot Gold from $488++ with mouth-watering whole South African abalone, Japanese dried oysters, Australian scallops, superior fish maw, sea cucumber, juicy prawns, ‘fatt choy’ (black moss) and a selection of succulent roasts. Braised in superior chicken broth over low heat for at least four hours is the perfect accompaniment with a bowl of fragrant jasmine rice.

Choose from a selection of a la carte specialties by Master Chef Mok Wan Lok that includes sautéed coral clam and jumbo asparagus in X.O. chilli sauce at $68++ per portion and stewed deer tendon, fresh Chinese yam and scallops at $68++ per portion.

Savour authentic Peranakan festive favourites, at the award winning Ellenborough Market Café at Swissôtel Merchant Court from 18 January to 19 February 2019. Local favourites include Ayam Buah Keluak, Nyonya chap chye and babi pongteh and festive desserts such as nyona kueh, steamed nian gao with grated coconut and the signature durian pengat.

Buffet lunch is priced at $68++ for Adult and $34++ for Child, buffet dinner is priced at $88++ for Adult and $44++ for Child. Weekend high tea buffet is priced at$48++ for Adult and $24++ for Child and is available on 5 and 6 February 2019.

Those who wish to skip cooking at home can look forward to prosperity takeaway treats that include  the Prosperity Kurobuta Pork Yu Sheng, smoked salmon Yu Sheng, a succulent platter of Chinese roast combination available from $88++ to $98++.

Located in the heritage suburb of Katong in the East Coast of Singapore, Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxywill feature a customized reunion dinner set menu starting from $399++ for four person to $1,398++ for 10 persons. Signature dishes include Steamed Dragon Spot Grouper with Chef’s Homemade Chilli Plum Sauce, Stewed Udon Noodles with Three Treasures in Golden Broth, Jia Wei Charcoal Grilled Suckling Pig, Braised Eight-Head Abalone with Assorted Dried Seafood Served in Claypot and more.

From 4 January to 19 February 2019, Head Chef Victor Lee will showcase a wide selection of home-made take-away delights such as the popular Roasted Treasure set, priced at $249.00, Jia Wei Treasure Pot “Pen Cai” priced at $399.00, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall available from $499.00 and Abundance Golden Pig set at $669.00.
