Spread the love

The Windsor has just the thing to sweep belles and beaus off their feet this Valentine’s Day.

DINE

Set under the softly gleaming chandeliers in the hotel’s grand dining room, Valentine’s Day dinner is a four-course, candle-lit affair with a red rose to remember the night by.

Dinner starts with a Windsor Royal cocktail on arrival, and includes oysters, a twice-baked cheese soufflé, an entrée, roasted and caramelised Great Ocean Road duck with cherries, a strawberry, yuzu & black sesame parfait, and tea, coffee and petit fours to finish. $139 per person. Book with Reservations via 03 9633 6002 or reservations@thw.com.au.

The hotel’s new European bistro, Lekker, will also be offering its set menu dinner on Valentine’s Day. Headed by Chef Rob Kabboord (ex-Merricote, Quay), diners can expect a smartly-dressed menu with fine dining technique and a touch of fun. The menu is accentuated with a sharply curated list of wines and beers (ask for the off-list too), and with Thonet chairs and elegant forest-green banquettes, makes for an excellent date night. www.lekker.melbourne.
