Nestled on the picturesque coast of Baja California, San José Del Cabo’s oceanfront resort Viceroy Los Cabos serves as a quintessential respite for aesthetes who covet creative inspiration with a white-glove touch.

With the debut of The Bazaar and Art Gallery, guests at this 194-room five-star luxury resort have two new reasons to disconnect and unleash their creative energy amidst stunning architecture where the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez meet.

The Bazaar at Viceroy Los Cabos is an experiential retail concept that offers both resort guests and locals alike a tranquil space to explore, engage and connect. A rotating collection of over 25 exclusive luxury brands offer a global assortment of luxury fashion, home, bath and body and travel essentials from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Whether it’s Purple Smoke, Frescobol Melissa Odabash, Bamford or Aromaria, the Bazaar plunges guests into a colorful world of fashion within the resort. In addition to the new Bazaar, the resort is also home to an outpost of Latin American fashion boutique, KM33. Created by Sara Galindo – a well-known figure in Mexico’s fashion industry – the luxury boutique is located in the resort’s spa where guests can explore a compilation of collectible fashion pieces designed and handcrafted by local artisans.

Further underscoring Viceroy Los Cabos’ celebration of the arts, a new on-site art gallery will promote creativity and advance education for resort guests. A mélange of striking site-specific works stemmed from an amalgam of independent local artists, painters, sculptors, photographers and musicians will be displayed throughout the public spaces alongside a robust art education program. Guests can take part in workshops including figurative art, beach and sand sculpturing, mixed media, watercolor, textile, experiential and more. The gallery will also serve as an opportunity for guests to purchase distinct works of art during their stay which will enhance the resort’s design and brand narrative. Also located within the Art Gallery is the resort’s new Beach Store. Offering a variety of locally made beachwear items including apparels, sandals and hats from KM33, hand painted woven bags by La Colectiva and more, the beach store will offer guests a one-stop-shop for all their beach vacation needs.

“The collective languages of art and fashion bypass borders and forge connections,” says Peter Bowling, Regional Managing Director of Viceroy Los Cabos. “Whether it’s the Bazaar or Art Gallery, we are proud to empower our local artists and designers with a platform to exhibit their works, but simultaneously introduce an opportunity to provide educational guest programming that resonates.”

All guest experiences will be complemented by Viceroy Los Cabos’ signature hospitality and enhanced by Viceroy’s Promise of Cleanliness Program, which is grounded in the commitment of wellbeing of guests, colleagues and the local community. The resort is also offering on-site antigen COVID testing through St. Luke’s Hospital, priced at $30 USD for U.S. residents. All test charges must be paid by guests and the amount will be added to guest’s folio in the form of a resort credit that can be applied towards food, beverage or spa treatments.
