Vietjet has officially commenced its new direct flight connecting Singapore to Da Nang, the beautiful coastal city of Central Vietnam.

Launched on 20 December 2019, the Singapore – Da Nang route will operate daily with a flight time of around 2 hours and 40 minutes per leg. The flight departs from Singapore at 10.50 am and arrives in Da Nang at 12.30 pm. The return flight from Da Nang departs at 12.20 pm and arrives in Singapore at 3.55 pm. All are in local time. With the addition of this new route, Vietjet now operates three direct routes between Singapore and Vietnam, connecting Singapore to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

The inaugural flight ceremony was held in both Singapore and Da Nang with Vietjet’s Vice President Do Xuan Quang welcoming the first passengers from Singapore arriving at Da Nang International Airport. Passengers on both debut flights were also presented with gifts from the flight crew.

Vietjet has also launched daily return services linking Da Nang with Taipei and Hong Kong, starting from 19 and 21 December 2019 respectively. The three new services connecting Da Nang with three major regional transport hubs will enable international travellers to reach Da Nang conveniently. With the three new routes, Vietjet now operates a total of 12 routes from Da Nang with domestic flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Can Tho, and Nha Trang, and international flights to Singapore, Tokyo (Haneda), Seoul, Daegu, Bangkok, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Da Nang, the famous coastal city in central Vietnam, is also known as the best city to live in Vietnam and has been gaining the attention of both domestic and international travellers. The city also serves as a gateway to surrounding tourist destinations including the ancient town of Hoi An, the former imperial citadel in Hue city, and Quang Binh, home to one of the world’s largest caves.

To celebrate the new routes, Vietjet is offering millions of promotional tickets from now until 22 December 2019 for as little as SGD 0 (*). The promotional tickets are applicable to all of Vietjet’s routes linking Singapore and Vietnam, and also includes all domestic and international routes around Asia. Tickets for this promotion are valid for travel from 23 December 2019 to 31 July 2020 (**).

The tickets are available on all channels at Vietjet’s website www.vietjetair.com, the “Vietjet Air” mobile app or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/vietjetglobal (just click the “Booking” tab). Payment can be easily made with Visa/ MasterCard/ AMEX/ JCB/ KCP/UnionPay cards.
