Vietjet Launches New Route Between Ho Chi Minh City and Pattaya

Vietjet has announced its newest direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Thailand’s popular coastal destination, Pattaya, via U-Tapao International Airport on Monday, 2 December 2019.

Launching on 23 December 2019, the new Ho Chi Minh City – Pattaya route will operate daily services with a flight time of one hour and thirty minutes per leg. The flight departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 1.25 pm and arrives in U-tapao at 2.40 pm. The return flight from U-tapao departs at 11.25 am and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 12.55 pm. All are in local time.

To celebrate the new route, Vietjet is offering more than 100,000 promotional tickets available from now until will 5 December 2019 for as little as SGD 0 (*). Tickets are available between the golden hours from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm (GMT+8) and applies to all flights from Da Lat, Da Nang and Taichung (Taiwan) to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi); from Ho Chi Minh City to Pattaya (U-Tapao International Airport); and all of Thailand’s domestic routes from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, including the Phuket – Chiang Rai and Udon Thani – Chiang Rai routes.

The travel period for the promotional tickets is from 23 December 2019 to 24 October 2020 (**). The tickets are available on all channels at Vietjet’s website www.vietjetair.com, the “Vietjet Air” mobile app or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/vietjetglobal (just click the “Booking” tab). Payment can be easily made with Visa/ MasterCard/ AMEX/ JCB/ KCP/UnionPay cards.

Following the launch of the Ho Chi Minh City – Pattaya route, Vietjet will operate a total of eight direct routes between Thailand and Vietnam with the highest frequency. This includes services from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Haiphong and Da Lat to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and services from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket, Chiang Mai and U-Tapao. The newest route is expected to increase the number of tourists travelling between Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces of Vietnam to Thailand’s Rayong and Pattaya area, both popular international tourist destinations. In addition, the new service will open two entries into Thailand at Tan Son Nhat and U-Tapao International Airports.
