Customers of Vietjet and Swift247, a tech start-up providing express air delivery services, are now able to use city check-in services in Ho Chi Minh City starting from 2 September 2019. The ticket office, offering city check-in services as well as other services and utilities, is located at 60A Truong Son, Ward 2, Tan Binh District.

This is the first Vietjet ticket office to provide city check-in services and is Vietjet’s latest initiative in its positioning as a modern airline. Passengers will be able purchase add-on services and receive their boarding passes after completing the check-in procedures at the service desks or with self check-in kiosks. They will also be able to enquire and purchase other add-on services at any time of the day. Checked baggage will also be accepted and baggage tags will be issued from 1 November 2019. This will allow Vietjet passengers to enjoy the area’s attractions and services, such as Menas Mall and HD Bank’s digital banking services, without the hassle of bulky luggage and experiencing long queues at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The new ticket office and Vietjet Plaza service complex are equipped with digital screens to provide updates on all of Vietjet’s flight schedules. This will allow passengers using the free city check-in service to be flexible with their time before proceeding directly to airport security to enter the boarding area. In addition, Vietjet will provide a free shuttle bus every 15 minutes to pick up passengers from the ticket office to the airportThis will also help to reduce crowding at airport check-in counters, particularly at Tan Son Nhat airport, benefiting not only passengers but also ground service companies, airport security, cargo and shipping units.

Swift247 has also opened its official service point at the ticket office; operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide inter-province express delivery services to deliver any goods within Vietnam in five hours or less.
