Visit Idaho Launches Campaign to Attract Summer Visitors

Visit Idaho has launched its prime-season integrated marketing campaign aimed at attracting summer travelers seeking outdoor adventure and unique experiences to Idaho. This multifaceted campaign reaches travelers through new and updated elements.

Epic Idaho
Epic Idaho is a seven-part YouTube web series capturing the essence of the Idaho travel experience as well as the state’s diverse geography and expansive beauty. Series hosts, travel pros and award-winning photographer Chad Case and videographer Jonathan Conti, guide viewers across Idaho to uncover the Gem State’s history, culture and vast outdoor adventure. From family-friendly jaunts to heart-pounding thrills, there’s an adventure for all travelers. All seven episodes are available for viewing on the Visit Idaho YouTube channel or Additionally, a corresponding itinerary for each episode may be viewed or downloaded for easy trip planning.

18 Summers
In February, Visit Idaho launched its prime season campaign, 18 Summers. Now in its fifth year, the award-winning campaign focuses on family travel and the importance of connecting with loved ones and creating memories together during family summer vacations. This year’s campaign features a “docu-memory” that follows a family of five first-time visitors to Idaho, as they splash, soar, soak and saddle-up on a 10-day journey across Idaho. The mini-film accompanies an integrated rollout of associated travel tips for visitors.

Official Idaho Travel Guide
The 2019 Official Idaho Travel Guide is a departure from previous designs, including an embossed cover and completely new interior content and layout. It’s the best of Idaho, re-imagined with a focus on amazing photos, captivating editorial, strong storytelling and helpful information on the unique experiences found only in Idaho. The guide reads like a travel magazine and helps visitors plan their Idaho adventure no matter their preferred location, activity level or budget. The guide can be viewed online or travelers may order a printed version online or by calling 1-800-VISIT-ID.
