For some thirteen years prior to retirement in 2019, Glasgow based Nigel Cole ran a private tour operator and tour guiding business entailing the design and delivery of a wide range of customised tours for groups of all sizes, which resulted in the accumulation of an extensive knowledge base of many facets of Scotland, its people, history and culture. This vast array of information has been curated and condensed into the Visitors’ Guide which is a unique, and hopefully, valuable resource for persons planning a trip to Scotland.
