Four new famous voices are now greeting guests at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), welcoming travelers to Los Angeles as the latest in the airport’s “Voices of Los Angeles” project.

In July, LAX launched “Voices of Los Angeles,” playing recorded messages from iconic local figures who reflect the diversity, creativity and wow-factor you can only find in the City of Angels. The “Voices of Los Angeles” include local entertainers, sports figures, musicians, actors, chefs and other celebrity voices that echo the spirit of Los Angeles.

The four newest voices now playing include:
• Billie Eilish, singer-songwriter and Los Angeles native
• Issa Rae, native Angeleno, co-creator, writer and Emmy-nominated lead actress in the HBO television series “Insecure” (which takes place in the City of Los Angeles)
• Jared Goff, quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams
• Zedd, Grammy award-winning record producer, DJ and musician

“Los Angeles is the City of Stars, and LAX is excited to bring the voices of some of these stars into our airport with inspiring and engaging messages that welcome all to our great city,” said Deborah Flint, Chief Executive Officer, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). “The Voices of Los Angeles project has proven to be extremely popular with our guests, and we’re excited to continue showcasing entertainers, athletes and more as a fun way to surprise our guests and celebrate the diversity, creativity and talent of these incredible Angelenos.”

The messages, which will rotate throughout the day and be replaced on a regular basis with new voices, will play on the overhead announcement system inside each terminal. The messages will identify each speaker and welcome travelers to LAX and the City of Los Angeles.
