Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International Inc., has joined forces with fitness expert, Tim Robards, to empower and support Marriott Bonvoy travel program members to achieve their running goals at this year’s Melbourne Marathon Festival (13 October).

Together with Tim Robards, Westin has developed Melbourne Marathon Training Packages, which are now available online via the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform – Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program’s platform where members can purchase or redeem points for unique and money can’t buy experiences.

The Melbourne Marathon Training Packages are available for 5k, half marathon and full marathon runners and include: a personalised training program by Tim Robards and his expert team at The Robards Method, encompassing Sleep Well tips, Eat Well nutrition plans and Move Well exercises; weekly check ins and progress reports; entry to the marathon and racer bib; RunWESTIN workout apparel; access to WestinWORKOUT classes in partnership with KX Pilates, and RunWESTIN hotel runs led by The Westin Melbourne Run Concierge.

During the Melbourne Marathon, package holders will also have access to a VIP Westin Hospitality space located in the Runners’ Village, where they will be treated to Westin Eat Well refreshments and energy boosting foods, physio recovery sessions and a post-race celebration.

The partnership with Tim Robards follows the announcement that Westin Hotels & Resorts is the exclusive hotel partner for this year’s Melbourne Marathon Festival, taking place on Sunday 13 October.

Following the Melbourne Marathon Festival, Westin will celebrate a series of marathon partnerships across Asia-Pacific, including the Shanghai International Marathon (17 November) and Tokyo Marathon (1 March 2020). These partnerships will provide guests and Marriott Bonvoy members access to benefits such as exclusive training sessions and special experiences at the marathon expos prior to the race and at the finishing lines.
