Wet’n’Wild Haikou is pleased to announce the completion of annual aquatic safety audits performed by Ellis & Associates, with two members of staff attaining “exceeds expectations” in the individual assessments.

This marks Wet’n’Wild Haikou’s first audit by Ellis & Associates, which makes the park the first in China to be audited by the internationally-recognised aquatic safety experts. The two-day audit comprised individual assessments, as well as drills and scenarios that required team effort. The lifeguards reached and exceeded expectations in both sections, which is a great testament to the team, especially the trainers and senior staff.

“Safety will always remain a top priority in Wet’n’Wild Haikou,” said Lee Carter, General Manager of Wet’n’Wild’ Haikou. “Routine audits performed by Ellis & Associates are greatly valuable, as it helps us maintain high safety standards, as well as assure guests that we provide top-level swimmer protection here at our park.”

Following the first audit, the lifeguard team is planning ahead with improvements to the training and management strategies to lead the team towards higher scores in the future.
