The Star Sydney is kicking off the New Year with an action-packed calendar of thrilling entertainment and dining offers including Lunar New Year celebrations, live acts at Rock Lily this Australia Day long weekend, Sydney’s biggest Super Bowl party, romantic Valentine’s Day experiences and so much more.

LUNAR NEW YEAR AT THE STAR

The Star Sydney is set to ring in the 2020 Year of the Rat with a stunning host of Lunar New Year entertainment and exquisite menus.

Lunar New Year Dining – 18 January-9 February Gather your family and friends to feast on Lunar New Year inspired dishes specially curated by The Star’s talented chefs.

Indulge in everything from bountiful banquets to the ultimate buffet offering Asian inspired dishes, and sweet treats from the decadent dessert bar.

Lunar New Year Entertainment – 24 January-16 February The Star will play host to a range of free entertainment over the Lunar New Year period, including spectacular ribbon aerialist performances, stilt walkers, lion dancers, and more.

Performing in the Grand Foyer every Thursday-Sunday night 7pm, 8pm and 10pm, watch a special Lunar New Year version of Aqualume, combining lasers, water, digital art and live performances by some of the country’s most talented aerialists.

VALENTINE’S DAY

The Darling Spa | Romance and Relax Couples Treatment | 1-29 February To welcome the month of love, treat yourself and your special someone to a luxurious pampering session that will leave you both in a state of bliss at The Darling Spa. The treatment includes –

CHUUKA & Chill | Throughout Summer, Every Saturday & Sunday from 2pm The Star’s newest dining offering CHUUKA will be transforming into an alfresco day club every Saturday and Sunday throughout summer from 2pm bringing in the ultimate weekend vibes. Situated at the end of Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, overlooking the world-famous Sydney Harbour, it’s the perfect spot to sip on a cocktail or two whilst taking in the water view.

Super Bowl | 3 February Experience all the action of the National Football League (NFL) Super Bowl LIV live, large and loud at Sydney’s home of football on Monday, 3 February 2020.
