Wild Bush Luxury, Australia’s conservation tourism specialist offering exclusive and inspirational experiences to reconnect guests with the land, has set the dates for a five-day photography safari with leading Australian travel photographer Richard I’Anson.Eight budding photographers will have the opportunity to capture the surreal beauty of Arkaba Conservancy & Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre between 26 – 30 August, 2019.
The Capturing Arkaba and Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre experience will take guests on a full day air safari over Wilpena Pound, the Painted Hills and Lake Eyre, affording a truly unique opportunity to capture thousands of birds feeding on brine shrimp and other invertebrates in this extraordinary habitat.
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to Arkaba, a 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy in South Australia’s Ikara-Flinders Ranges, four night’s luxury accommodation, gourmet meals and beverages at Arkaba Homestead and lunch at one of the world’s most remote outback pubs, the iconic William Creek Hotel.
The photographic safari will be led by Richard I’Anson, author of Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography, Canon Master and World Nomads Mentor. I’Anson will share expert knowledge and thoughtful tutelage, ensuring guests capture stunning images.

The experience will include a one-hour private air transfer from Adelaide to the Flinders Ranges, private charter flights over the Flinders Ranges, Lake Eyre and the Painted Hills, exclusive access to a private wildlife conservancy and one of Australia’s most accessible outback experiences, returning overland through Clare Valley wine country.
