World Resorts of Distinction (WRD) expands its footprint across three new destinations and ventures into the northern hemisphere for the first time with the addition of ÀNI Private Resorts to its portfolio of luxury, conscious clients.

ÀNI is the world’s first collection of private resorts, with high-end, all-inclusive private resorts in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Anguilla and the Dominican Republic.

WRD CEO, Tess Willcox, said the partnership provides an exciting opportunity for her team to market new luxury options to savvy Australian travellers.

“Aside from Thailand, we currently don’t represent any clients in countries that overlap with ÀNI Private Resorts’ presence; and the brand’s Caribbean resorts represent our first foray into the northern hemisphere,” she said. “We look forward to offering premium accommodation choices in these highly-sought after destinations to our community of conscious travellers and partners.”

The ÀNI Private Resorts concept is to provide guests with the facilities, staff and service of five-star resorts with the private, exclusive nature of high-end villa rentals.

“Yours alone to share with your closest friends and family, the ÀNI Private Resorts experience is the height of group holidays,” Tess said. “Perfect for milestone celebrations, weddings, multi-generation getaways and corporate retreats, each destination is staffed with a full team dedicated to all aspects of your bespoke trip.”

Catering for groups of eight to 30 people who want to experience a luxury resort setting in complete seclusion, ÀNI Private Resorts’ guests have access to amenities rarely found at villas, such as waterslides, tennis courts, separate spas and fitness centres, multiple pools and dining areas, and private pavilions for anything from sunrise yoga to weddings.

Staff that would usually cost extra at villas, like private chefs, butlers, housekeepers and bartenders, are all included at ÀNI Private Resorts, as are services that normally carry an extra fee even at all-inclusive resorts, including tennis lessons, spa treatments, childcare and guided tours.

Commenting on the synergies between WRD – Australia’s only resort representation agency committed to conscious travel – and ÀNI Private Resorts, Tess praised the brand’s philanthropic character.

“The owners of ÀNI Private Resorts proudly provide 100% of funding for ÀNI Art Academies, a collection of not-for-profit organisations offering an intensive multi-year education in art skills for aspiring artists in local communities around the world.”
