Just as there are accolades for the world’s best airline and world’s best airport, so there are awards for the world’s best airport hotels – and the same property has just won it for the fifth year in a row.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport received the title for the fifth successive year in the World Airport Awards, organised by Skytrax and announced at an award ceremony in London. To celebrate, the property is offering five big prizes.

To celebrate this fifth consecutive award, 1 million IHG Rewards Club points are to be won and shared among five travellers who book a stay from 1 April – 30 June 2019. Travellers can also earn 5X IHG Rewards Club points upon booking the Runway View Room or Jewel View Deluxe Room from 1 April – 30 June 2019.

Singapore Changi is everyone’s favourite airport, renowned for giving travellers just what they need and want. So perhaps it’s no surprise the top airport hotel should be located there.

Globally, the Crowne Plaza brand provides upscale accommodation at 430 hotels and nearly 60 Crowne Plaza properties are located at top airport locations, including Amsterdam’s Schiphol and Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airports.

After the win, Crowne Plaza stated that its properties were “specially designed to help business travellers to recharge”.
