The operators of North Beach Kitchen in Wallaroo launch their new Food & beverage event “Yorke Peninsula King Prawn Carnivale” bringing the freshest local Spencer Gulf King prawns direct from the fisherman, prepared by local chefs with a beach front festival vibe. The event is on Saturday 29th February & Sunday 1st of March 2020.

North Beach Wallaroo is a fantastic location and is the most accessible beach on the Yorke Peninsula. We identified a demand for fresh local seafood and have partnered with the South Australian Prawn Industry “Spencer Gulf King Prawns” to supply locally caught Spencer Gulf King prawns direct to the festival.
To compliment the fresh local prawns, we have chosen to create a pop up Pimms Bar event. What better way than to sit back sipping on a Pimms & eating local prawns. Prawns & Pimms on the beach.
Entertainment will be on offer from acoustic performers at this all ages event. Three sessions are available over the event. Tickets are available via Eventbrite for all sessions.

We have tried to capture the theatre of a Prawn feast, newspaper lined tables and finger bowls create a “hands-on” spirit of a true prawn cook up. This event allows us to showcase beautiful Wallaroo in all its glory, beachfront views with glorious Spencer Gulf Prawns. For those less adventurous peeled prawn dishes are available. Ohh and yes some cheeky Pimms cocktails too.
