Yuletide Celebrations at Mandarin Orchard Singapore

Mandarin Orchard Singapore unveils an extravagant line-up of Christmas feasts and takeaways to celebrate the Yuletide season. 


Add a touch of seasonal sparkle to any festive party with Mandarin Orchard Singapore’s scrumptious selection of take-home treats including signature roasts and decadent yule log cakes.

A perennial favourite would be the much-acclaimed Premium Honey-glazed Boneless or Bone-in Gammon Ham prepared using the Hotel’s closely guarded recipe from close to 50 years ago. Also very popular is the Roasted Ibérico Pork Rack with Smoked Paprika and Pink Himalayan Salt.

Making a mouth-watering debut this year is the Braised U.S. Short Rib in Port Wine and crusted in Mash Potato. Premium grade beef short ribs are braised to perfection in a rich port wine sauce, then topped with mashed potato for an added layer of textured goodness. New features in the roast selection also include Roasted Sakura Chicken with Black Truffle, Quinoa, and Wild Rice Stuffing, and Orange Miso-glazed Norwegian Salmon with Seafood Mousse.

Of course, no Christmas feast is complete without exquisite sweets, traditional or otherwise. Indulge in Japanese-inspired yule log cakes featuring flavours such as aromatic Hōjicha and zesty Yuzu—each delightfully presented on an edible chocolate sleigh, making it the perfect festive centrepiece. Also worth trying are the Apple and Coconut Yule Log, and the Valrhona Manjari Chocolate Banana Yule Log.

Meanwhile, back by popular demand is the signature Valrhona Delicious Dulcey Yule Log—a moist, flourless chocolate sponge with candied hazelnuts and creamy praline mousse.

The Hotel will be dressed to impress this holiday season with elaborate Christmas décor, featuring a life-sized gingerbread house that makes its debut at the main lobby from 21 November. On Christmas Day, Santa Claus makes a special appearance especially for the little ones. Guests will also be serenaded with Christmas carols by the Vocal Consort from 22 to 25 December 2018.


Extravagant feasts at Mandarin Orchard Singapore’s Japanese-inspired international buffet restaurant, Triple Three, will showcase signature items such as Premium Honey-glazed Ham, Roasted U.S. Turkey, and Oven-roasted Kumamoto Wagyu. Diners can also sample staples from the daily delights such as Pan-seared Foie Gras with Miso and Black Truffle, and Lobster Mentaiyaki.

Other highlights of the buffet include the Freshly-shucked Oysters, Seafood on Ice, and Sushi and Sashimi.

An elaborate spread of Christmas desserts will include classics such as the Dark Cherry Yule Log, Fruit Cake, Christmas Pudding, Stollen, Panettone, and Toffee Pudding.
