Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), global leader in luxury travel, welcomed its Private Jet to Perth on Tuesday 30 October 2018 as part of its ‘Around the World with Geoffrey Kent’ Inspiring Expedition.

Accompanied by A&K Founder, Mr Geoffrey Kent, travellers will spend three nights at COMO The Treasury, named Best Hotel in Australia and New Zealand for the third year in a row by readers of Conde Nast Traveler, and be treated to a carefully curated selection of unique experiences during their stay.

Highlights will include an exclusive visit by helicopter or floatplane to a private cattle station where some of Australia’s finest Black Angus are bred. A Welcome to Country and an indigenous bush walk is arranged for guests with the acclaimed Dr. Richard Walley, one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal performers, musicians and writers, as well as a tour of the property with the farm manager. Lunch is a spectacular selection of seasonal Western Australian produce.

A second day of activity offers choices: a snorkelling and aqua scooter experience with wild bottlenose dolphins. A day exploring Rottnest Island by e-bike and Segway with a gourmet picnic lunch. An America’s Cup immersion at the Royal Perth Yacht Club. Or a day spent at Western Australia’s oldest and most distinguished vineyard, Sandalford, for instruction in the art of wine making and creating your own blend. A sound healing session with Dr. Walley precedes the grande finale, a bespoke seven-course tasting menu at Wildflower, COMO’s inventive restaurant, where local, often native ingredients, are dished up according to the indigenous six-season calendar.

A&K has been operating private jet trips for more than 20 years. The journeys operate on a specially customised Boeing 757 converted from its normal passenger load to a maximum capacity of 50 guests with fully lie-flat seats and cabin crew on board for the entire journey.

Next year, A&K’s new ‘Cultural Treasures: Around the World by Private Jet’ will follow a boldly imagined route exploring Japan, Mongolia, Nepal and Bhutan, India, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Sicily. Tour dates October 12-November 3, 2019 with prices from US$129,000 per person.
