People from all walks of life can take part in the Campbelltown City Challenge Walk on Sunday, March 10, 2019, starting at 8am.

Now in its 28th year, the community event was created to increase motivation and commitment to regular exercise, attracting participants of all abilities each year.

It will be held at the scenic Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, with participants encouraged to form teams made up of workmates, sporting teammates or family members as they take the 6km fun walk or the more challenging 11km endurance walk.

There are seven different age categories and every entrant goes into a draw to win some great prizes. Trophies are awarded and each participant receives a certificate.

Entry fees are just $11.40 online, or $22.80 if purchased on the day, making the walk an inexpensive and safe opportunity to exercise in a group environment.

Free parking is available at the gardens and a free bus shuttle will also operate from Campbelltown Railway Station.

The walk will showcase the botanic garden, one of Macarthur’s premier attractions, which features 20km of walking tracks, lakes, gardens, parks and a spectacular Stonehenge-type sundial, outdoor sculptures and a mountain bike track.
