Viking has announced that bookings are now open for 2021 departures of the award-winning cruise line’s 23-day European Sojourn, 11-day Passage to Eastern Europe and 15-day France’s Finest, completing Viking’s suite of 2021 river cruise itineraries now open for sale, the first river cruise line to do so.

With departures up to December 2021 now available across the entire range of Viking river product in Europe, Russia, China and Egypt, travellers who like to plan ahead will benefit from an incredible choice of itineraries, departure dates and the ability to take first pick of staterooms and suites.

In addition, Viking’s Passage to Eastern Europe and European Sojourn itineraries now include a brand new call in Golubac in Serbia, where guests are treated to an included tour of Golubac Fortress, built in the 14th century in a strategic position on the Danube where the river narrows into the Iron Gates gorge.

Newly released sailings are selling at 2020 prices for a limited time:

  • 23-day European Sojourn from Amsterdam to Bucharest or v.v. is the complete European river cruising experience, covering three rivers and eight countries in both central and eastern Europe. Priced from $9,995pp, including free return economy flights to Europe.
  • 11-day Passage to Eastern Europe from Bucharest to Budapest or v.v. takes guests to lands once hidden behind the Iron Curtain. Priced from $4,695pp, plus a special companion airfare offer to Europe, including free return economy airfare for one traveller and fares from $1,695 for the second.
  • 15-day France’s Finest from Paris to Avignon or v.v. takes guests from Paris to Burgundy, Provence and Lyon. Priced from $6,495pp, including free return economy flights to Europe.
