Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited (EVENT) has revealed 34 properties in its hospitality portfolio – which spans QT Hotels and Resorts, Rydges Hotels and Resorts and Atura Hotels – have been recognised in the 2020 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards.
Now in its 18th year, the 2020 Travellers’ Choice awards celebrate the best of the best and were calculated based on the quality and quantity of millions of reviews, opinions and ratings collected on the platform in 2019, prior to the pandemic.
Among the wins for the company are QT Sydney which was named in the Top 25 hotels – Australia, QT Queenstown which was named in the Top 25 Hotels – South Pacific and Bacchus Restaurant which was awarded in the Top 10 Best Fine Dining Restaurants – Australia and in the Top 25 Best Fine Dining – South Pacific. These specific accolades represent the most exceptional and highest rated properties and experiences around the world and put them among the top one per cent of all listings on Tripadvisor.
Four properties – QT Wellington, Powerhouse Hotel Armidale by Rydges, Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges and Rydges Newcastle – were also entered into the Travellers’ Choice Hall of Fame, reflecting five consecutive years of recognition.
